Sanyo-Denki, a newcomer to the U.S. market, offers a broad range of battery backup solutions, including the 1kVA ASE-H UPS.
The UPS offers hot-swappable batteries, 5-year battery life and true on-line technology, also known as double conversion, to continuously supply interference-free power. Double conversion technology also boosts power conversion to 91 percent efficiency, which lowers operating costs.
Up to five units can be connected for redundancy, and each unit is hot-swappable. The 1kVA unit can be oriented horizontally or vertically and is rack-mountable. Sanyo-Denki bundles administrative software with the unit and offers four A/C outlets and expansion bays for installation of optional management modules. Rack mount hardware and a serial PC interface cable is included.
