AOpen's Tiny Tower Chassis Boasts Power

AOpen America's recently released H420 tiny tower design is geared for customers that need a highly integrated, functional design in a small package. The chassis is packed with a 250W power supply, two 5.25-inch external bays and two 3.5-inch external bays, nearly twice that of similar products. According to AOpen, similar chassis built by other manufacturers only provide 145W to 180W and have one 5.25-inch and one 3.5-inch external bay capacity.

The H420 provides all necessary functionality, sufficient space and decent stock cooling, though lacks the luxuries found on larger and more expensive cases. The case is lightweight but solidly built, with a stylish black metallic look. The H420 is a screwdriver-free design; even the drive bays and expansion slots do not have tools. The edges of the case are rounded throughout to prevent cuts and scrapes while performing service or upgrades. The case includes two front USB 2.0 and two audio ports.

The H420 also features a low noise output and controls for managing internal temperature. Even though AOpen designed the case for government and educational clients, it would also fit perfectly in a SOHO or an entertainment system.

The $54.99 H420 is covered by a three-year limited warranty. AOpen does not have any channel programs in place for this product, which can only be purchased through distribution.
