Hot Software Products To Check Out At Lotusphere

Along with keynotes, labs and training sessions, the Lotusphere Product Showcase will feature some 150 IBM Lotus business partners who will be showing off their latest offerings. Here's some of the hot technology attendees should check out.

Elguji Software (booth #622) will be showing off its recently debuted IQJam, an IBM Lotus Domino template that allows users to identify subject-matter experts within an organization. The software can help a company or community build a knowledge base, develop and manage communities of practice, develop self-sustaining FAQs, allow customers and partners to ask questions and get answers about products and services, and improve help and support/service desk operations. Elguji also develops the popular IdeaJam application.

Mainsoft (booth #724) will be previewing Mainsoft SharePoint Integrator for Lotus Notes v.2.5, the latest release of the company's software that offers support for SharePoint 2010, including integration with SharePoint-based professional networks. The screenshot at left shows a SharePoint profile search in Lotus Notes.



Attendees also should check out the technology preview Mainsoft released last month of IBM Lotus Connections integration with IBM Rational Team Concert. That enables agile development teams to easily communicate with technical and business stakeholders on a single social network.

Trilog Group (booth #610) will debut its latest project management software, ProjExec 4.2.2 for IBM Lotus Quickr services for Domino. The software provides collaboration, real-time communication and social networking capabilities to help project teams improve project processes and reduce risks and operational costs. ProjExec runs inside Quickr and works with other applications in the IBM Lotus portfolio.



Trilog will also be debuting a preview of ProjExec 5.0 that supports Quickr 8.5 and Sametime 8.5 and allows Domino developers to extend ProjExec capabilities using Domino Designer XPages. ProjExec 5.0 is slated to be generally available by mid-2010.

Binary Tree (booths #430, 431 and 432) will be demonstrating the latest releases of its CMT suite of analysis, co-existence and migration software with updated user interfaces. CMT for Domains (left) helps reduce the time and cost of migrating, consolidating or separating Lotus Domino domains. CMT for Notes converts e-mails, calendars, contacts and tasks from Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise and IMAP to Lotus Notes. And CMT for Coexistence 3.0 establishes interoperability and workflows between Lotus Domino and Exchange Server 2010.

Genius Inside (booths #517 and 518) will be demonstrating upgrades to its Genius Project project management and portfolio software. Those applications include Genius Project for Web, a subscription-based service built on IBM middleware, and Genius Project for Domino for Lotus Notes users. Both Genius Project upgrades will offer expanded management features including improved interfaces with Web 2.0 functionality, fast loading, and tracking ability for thousands of tasks.

Synaptris (booth #608), a developer of Lotus Notes information management applications, will be showing its FewClix e-mail productivity add-on for Lotus Notes. The software, now in public beta, helps users prioritize their e-mails (at left), search for and quickly find any e-mail, personalize their mailbox and "e-mail experience," organize their mailbox for clearing clutter or archiving, and extending their social network using their e-mail network.

Ardexus (booth #612) will launch new releases of its salesforce automation applications that are based on the company's patented sales methodology. Ardexus WebMODE v3.0 offers improved scalability and global filtering functionality. Ardexus WebMODE for BlackBerry v3.0 features automated deployment and a new interface that's easier to use.



The company also will be featuring Ardexus MODE v6.1 with enhanced functionality in the sales, marketing and service modules, plus an improved user interface.
