Broken Escalators, Broken Dreams
Closed and blocked-off escalators were a common sight in Las Vegas in and around the CES halls. Perhaps they were all undergoing repairs at the same time, but it sure looked like a telltale sign that CES -- and the entire tourism engine of Las Vegas, in fact -- isn't chugging along with the same vigor of previous years.
