The slow pace of Windows Mobile development is fast becoming one of Microsoft's biggest problems. With each new shiny, feature-packed smartphone that hits the market, Windows Mobile looks more pedestrian. Microsoft says it's well aware of the issues and has a plan in place to change its course in the mobile market. Given what's at stake, it had better be a good one.
