Avnet Acquires Repair Services Company

Avnet has completed its acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets of Hartford Computer Group and its subsidiary Nexicore Services through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Chicago.

Nexicore generated about $85 million in sales last year through the repair and installation of consumer electronics and computer equipment. It operates in three groups: depot repair, onsite repair and installation, and spare parts management.
