Wipro Sales Surge

Another Indian IT firm, Wipro, also reported continuing revenue growth this week. Total revenue for 2011 was $7.37 billion, an increase of 21 percent year over year. IT services revenue was $5,921 million, an increase of 13.4 percent. For the fourth quarter, total revenue was $1.94 billion, a year-over-year increase of 19 percent. IT services revenue was $1.54 million, 2.0 percent higher from the previous quarter and a year-over-year hike of 9.7 percent.
