HP Unveils Aggressive SLA To Woo Cloud Services Customers

Hewlett-Packard is gearing up to launch its first two cloud services next month, and this week it revealed a service level agreement that includes service credits for customers who don't see uptime of at least 99.95 percent. "If for some reason you don’t receive 100 percent availability, let us know how you were affected, and we will credit your bill for the affected service up to 30 percent depending upon the degree of unavailability," Gavin Pratt, senior product manager on HP's Cloud Services team, said in a blog post.
