Axcient Hires
Hotshot cloud data recovery company Axcient, whose CEO Justin Moore (pictured) recently told CRN the company increased its headcount by 50 employees this year, has made some key executive hires as of late. In mid-September, the company brought out Eric Weiss as vice president of marketing and Asim Razzaq as vice president of engineering. Both executives have strong startup pedigree: Weiss was most recently an senior vice president at GreenRoad and spent time at Covad and ITXC, while Razzaq was most recently leader of the engineering team for the PayPal Developer Platform and was previously development manager at QuickArrow prior to its acquisition by NetSuite.
