Dell Dishes Out Partner Of The Year Awards At Dell World

Best Partners

Dell handed out its Partner of the Year Awards Tuesday at its Global Channel Summit at Dell World in Austin, Texas. Twelve companies took home 13 awards, with one lucky VAR winning two.

Two winners were not in attendance to accept their hardware: Cambridge Computer, who won the North East Partner of the year for the second year in a row, and Bulletproof Solutions, who took home the Canadian Partner of the Year award. Here's a look at the rest of the winners.

South East Partner Of The Year

Veristor
Duluth, Ga.


Veristor won the South East Partner of the Year award, which was accepted by Matt Goggin, vice president of marketing (middle). North Central Partner Of The Year

St. Paul, Minn.


Accepting the North Central award from Dell's Davis and DeFoe were Paul Clifford, president and founder, and Sonia St. Charles, CEO and founder.

"This partner is 100 percent dedicated to Dell. They've invested in training, certifications and successfully delivered Dell's message to hundreds of clients," DeFoe said of Davenport Group.

South Central Partner Of The Year

Centre Technologies
Houston


Chris Pace, principle, accepted the South Central award from Dell's Davis and DeFoe.

"This legacy Compellent partner has done a phenomenal job partnering with our direct team in all lines of business and has achieved 118 percent year-over-year growth with Dell," DeFoe said of Centre Technologies.

West Partner Of The Year

Sidepath
Irvine, Calif.


Dell's Davis and DeFoe presented the West Partner of the Year award to Jim Andronaco, president of Sidepath.

"This storage-centric partner was an early adopter of Compellent, a leader in the market and a highly-trusted partner," DeFoe said.

Federal Partner Of The Year

Intelligent Decisions
Ashburn, Va.


Intelligent Decisions won the Federal Partner of the Year Award. Laura Moon, vice president of alliances and strategic partnerships, accepted the award with an unidentified man from Dell's Davis and DeFoe. "This partner was impactful, driving change and innovation in its customers," DeFoe said of the Ashburn, Va.-based VAR.

Healthcare Partner Of The Year, Direct Marketer Partner Of The Year

Somerset, N.J.


Hal Jagger, vice president and general manager of corporate sales, and Ryan Ford, senior director of marketing and sales operations, accepted awards as Dell's top healthcare partner and direct marketer partner from Dell's Davis and DeFoe. It was the third consecutive year SHI has captured the direct marketer award. "This is a recognition of growth across all product categories. Their healthcare and life sciences business had more than 250 percent growth year over year," DeFoe said in a statement.

SMB Partner Of The Year

Integrated Business Technologies
Broken Arrow, Okla.


Eric Kehmeier, managing partner of Integrated Business Technologies, accepted the SMB Partner of the Year award from Dell's Davis and DeFoe.

"They work with Dell to provide emerging technologies to help. They have an innovation approach to solutions and were named to CRN's Next Gen 250 list," DeFoe said.

Certified Partner Of The Year

Core Education & Consulting Solutions
Atlanta


Core ECS was chosen as Certified Partner of the Year based on its high levels of engagement in PartnerDirect, said Dell's DeFoe. "They have multiple competencies and have achieved solid revenue gains and a high level of training," he added. Accepting the award were President Paul Sprayberry and Steven Van Ginkel, senior vice president of sales.

Preferred Partner Of The Year
