After another rough quarter of slumping PC sales, Acer announced that Chairman and CEO J.T. Wang will step down from the chief executive position in January. Initially Acer announced Jim Wong, corporate president of Acer, would succeed Wang. But the computer maker later announced that Wong also resigned and Acer Founder Stan Shih would take over as chairman and interim president as the company continues to look for a full-time replacement.
