3. Army

Heralded as one of the largest enterprise resource planning systems in the world, the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), built for the Army by Accenture, makes the business operations of the Army more efficient and auditable for error. The system covers 227 bases internationally as well as 71 offices, processing more than a million transactions daily for more than 52,000 users.

The system combines a slew of other systems under a single solution, consolidating 107 legacy systems as well as integrating with 50 more. On top of creating the system, Accenture held more than 4,000 training sessions to get personnel on board and operates a call center for additional assistance operating the system.
