Household Names: The World's Most Valuable Technology Brands

No. 12 Accenture

Brand Value: $18.1 billion

Accenture made headlines in January when the Department of Health and Human Services hired it to fix the troubled Healthcare.gov website.

It was a high-profile win for Accenture that made it a household name after the site's failed initial launch in October 2013, a launch that was hampered by technological issues that made it difficult to access and use the site.

The contract, estimated at $91 million, was a boost for the Accenture business and brand value, which grew about 10 percent. It wasn't enough to push the company up any higher on the ranking, with Accenture falling two spots on the list to No. 55 in this year's top 100.
