Oracle's brand value began to recover slightly from last year's 11 percent fall, rising 4 percent. It wasn't enough to notch a gain in the Top 100, where it slid nine spaces.
The company kept its hold in the No. 10 spot, however, among the most valuable tech brands.
Oracle last week unveiled its MySQL Fabric database. Third-quarter revenue rose 4 percent to $9.3 billion, according to its recent earnings report.
