Qualcomm SnapDragon

Qualcomm's system-on-a-chip for mobile devices is based on ARM's architecture but also feature's Qualcomm's own application core processor, dubbed Scorpion. In addition, Snapdragon features the company's proprietary GPU technology called Adreno, which supports HD video. The chip is featured in dozens of top-selling smartphones from vendors like HTC, Sony, Samsung and Research In Motion. A quad-core version of Snapdragon is expected in 2012.
