Automation and connected devices are no longer just for high-tech homes. The connected home is expanding into the business world, said Jeff Davis, D&H senior vice president of sales. The distributor believes this is a massive opportunity for SMB solution providers, and launched an expanded portfolio for the connected home last month. By using Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth-based smart home technology devices, Davis said, SMB solution providers can help their customers get smarter about their electric and heating bills, physical security, office productivity and more. By bringing these technologies to their customers, solution providers are setting themselves apart from their competition and helping their clients be more effective and efficient, he said.
