Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1

Panasonic's Toughpad line of tablets keeps getting tougher -- and smaller. The company introduced the Toughpad FZ-M1, a new 7-inch Windows 8.1 Pro tablet that comes with the usual sturdy chassis and protection from drops, scratches, extreme temperatures, liquids and other hazards. The ruggedized tablet also comes with a user-replaceable battery with 8 hours of battery life and an optional high-capacity battery (16 hours). And even with its extra-strong chassis, the Panasonic tablet measures just 0.71 inches thick and weighs 1.2 pounds. The Toughpad FZ-M1 will start at $2,099 and be available this spring.
