OtterBox has revealed a lineup of premium cases for the Galaxy Note8. The cases feature an Alpha glass screen protector to guard the curved display from scratches and falls, while the casing itself has the OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection seal. Otterbox offers three series – the Commuter series, which is a dual-layer case; the Defender series, which has a screenless, multi-layer design to help protect from drops; and the Symmetry series, which is a single-piece, slim and stylish case.

Consumers who don't want a bulky case but want to protect their screen from scratches and dust should check out Tech Armor's case-friendly 3-D curved ballistic screen protector for the Galaxy Note8. The protector's top and bottom edges have been designed to fit most cases for the Note8 and don't interfere with the phone's sensors. The protector is available for pre-sales at $13.

Speck Presidio

As Galaxy Note8 preorders opened, phone case manufacturer Speck revealed its new lineup of Presidio cases for the phone. These cases are slim, have two layers of protection, and have been drop-tested up to three meters.

Samsung said its main focus for these covers is to provide protection for the Note8 against drops and scratches. The company did not reveal pricing or availability details for its newest cases.

Ringke

Ringke, which is best known for its stylish smartphone cover designs, launched a new series for the Note8. This collection is currently available and starts at $10. The Ringke case ranges in design and functionality from the original Onyx case, which is a standard black case offering a protective shield for the phone, to the Wave case, which flaunts a stylish wavy design on the back of the case.

Spigen

Spigen offers an array of different types of covers for the Galaxy Note8, including the Liquid Crystal case, the Thin Fit case, and the Wallet case with a foldable cover.

These covers range in price starting at $12 on Amazon, and offer a variety of different purposes for those using Samsung's newest smartphone. For instance, Spigen's Slim Armor case has a dual layer design and a built-in card slot holder.

Olixar

Olixar's cases may have a low price tag, but they offer durable protection for Samsung's Galaxy Note8. The company's FlexiShield case starts at $5.49.
