Four Cool Jabra Headsets For Partners

With its newly-launched channel program, telephone headset maker GN Netcom, aka Jabra, is making its portfolio available to the channel. Here we've compiled three headsets the New Hampshire-based vendor hopes will get VARs to listen up.

GN2100 Series

The Jabra GN2100 IP and GN2100 headset series is for business and contact center professionals using traditional desk Telephony. The headset features a sleek profile and a lightweight, ergonomic design for style and comfort.

The GN2100's 3-in-1 design lets users choose their wearing style, whether they use a lightweight headband, an adjustable FlexLoop or a SureFit ear hook. It also lets users choose to use a neckband. Additionally, mix-and-match accessories let users chose between three different ear plates and ear cushions.

Features of the GN2100 include the headset, headband, ear loop, ear hook, ear plate, ear cushion, clothing clip, headset hook, quick disconnect, boom arm, receiver, microphone and noise canceling microphone foam that doesn't transmit breathing sounds.

The Jabra GN9120 is a wireless headset for in-office workers that offers them range and personal mobility. It features four-way conference calling that lets users hold fully mobile, secure conference calls not restricted to meeting rooms and without interruptions by the distortions of speakerphones. The Jabra GN9120 comes with a choice of three different boom arms, each equipped with different microphones to suit quieter or louder office environments.

Some key features of the GN9120 include up to 300 feet of wireless range, up to eight hours of talk time, multi-unit conferencing capability, interchangeable ear hook and hand band wearing styles, and multi-layered security.

Accessories for the GN9120 include the Jabra GN1000 remote handset lifter that lets users answer and end calls away from their desks.

The dual-function GN9350 wireless headset works in both traditional and PC-based telephone environments. Using Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology removes impurities for the incoming signal, enriches sound quality and maintains a safe, consistent volume level. It also uses wideband audio, which at 6.8 KHz is more than twice that of conventional telephony.

With wireless range up to 300 feet and conference calling capabilities, the GN9350 features desk phone and VoIP/USB connectivity (though it only works with Windows 98 (SE), Windows 2000, Windows Vista and Windows XP). It's also enabled to work with the GN 1000 RHL and the electronic hook switch. It also features a display for set up, adjustable range, sound refinement, on-line indicator connectivity and a noise-canceling microphone.

The Jabra M5390 Multiuse headset is a Bluetooth headset that can connect simultaneously to mobile phones and desk phones, or to mobile phones and PC soft phones when using the enclosed dongle.

It allows users to answer calls up to 230 feet from their desk and is optimized for users who spend most of their time in the office. The M5390 features a noise-canceling microphone. It is compatible with most desk phone systems and the dongle is compliant with a wide range of PC based soft phones like Cisco IP Soft phone and Skype.

The dual use wireless Bluetooth headset is compatible with other Bluetooth devices, can pair with up to eight other devices, offers talk time up to six hours and standby time up to 60 hours.
