For Those About To Rock
Cloud telephony provider M5 Networks, which was recently acquired by ShoreTel and is now ShoreTel's Cloud Division, hosted a blowout Battle of the Bands in New York City earlier this month -- a team building exercise in which various M5 employees received instruction from the renowned School of Rock and got to test out their chops in front of a live audience.
It was definitely a work hard, play hard kind of day: executives from ShoreTel and M5 greeted analysts, press and partners to talk up ShoreTel's cloud strategy before everyone headed to the club -- and the bar -- to see a host of M5 bands made up of employees from its New York, Rochester and Chicago offices.
M5 said it had more than 1,000 attendees at the battle -- partners, employees, customers, guests -- and ShoreTel itself even got in on the action, too. CRN was also on hand, and here's a look at what went down on a loud, proud night in the Big Apple.
