Fewer Reliable Sources
The Symantec Government Symposium's lunchtime speaker was legendary news anchor and columnist Ted Koppel, who not only sang during his keynote presentation but offered sage advice on what's being lost in an era of go-go-go, always-on media and an inexhaustible supply of pundits and information.
"Reflection is an important part in decision making, and we are losing that in the immediate digital age," Koppel said. "We have information coming from billions of sources at lightning speed. Fewer reliable sources."
