Intel Security Looks Ahead
Last year, Intel Security rolled out a new strategy to overhaul and focus its portfolio on protection, detection and remediation offerings. Now, at this year's Focus 16 event in Las Vegas, the company is rolling out a new set of offerings that are "making good on the promise" of the year before, said Brian Dye (pictured), corporate vice president of global products.
While the underlying technologies are also getting upgrades, the new offerings released at the event emphasize integration, bringing together packages of Intel Security offerings that are fully integrated down to the engineering and workflow levels. The new set of integrated offerings highlights the focus and simplicity that Intel Security is looking to drive in its portfolio, according to Dye, and provides partners with an easier route to market and a way to provide more value to customers. These new offerings also will lay the groundwork for Intel Security's strategy and road map going forward as it becomes an independent company, Dye said.
