A Look At Dell's Studio Consumer Notebook Line

Dell's Studio notebooks come in two sizes and in seven colors: Jet Black, Midnight Blue, Plum Purple, Ruby Red, Flamingo Pink, Spring Green, Tangerine Orange and Graphite Gray, with blue, red, pink or black trim.

The Studio 15 has a 15.4-inch high definition widescreen display, and the Studio 17 has a 17-inch HD widescreen display.

The Studio notebook, shown here in Plum Purple, runs on Intel's Core 2 Duo processor and can be configured with a Blu-Ray or DVD player.

The Studio 15 line weighs in at 6.11 pounds, and Studio 17 starts at 7.87 pounds.

For more conservative users, unwilling to be seen sporting a lime green notebook computer, Dell is offering the Studio line in Graphite Gray with red, blue, pink or black trim.

Dell Video Chat comes pre-installed on the Studio notebook line.

Up to four users can participate in video chat simultaneously using the application.

The Studio 15 starts at $799 and the Studio 17 starts at $999 and both are available now through Dell's Website and retail outlets.
