Atlantis: In-memory Software-defined Storage Solution

Atlantis ILIO USX from Mountain View, Calif.-based Atlantis Computing is an in-memory software-defined storage solution that can pool and optimize any class of storage including SAN, NAS, RAM or direct attach storage using SSDs, flash storage, or SAS or SATA hard drives to create hybrid, converged or all-flash storage from existing datacenter resources.

Atlantis ILIO USX is designed for virtualized server workloads such as databases, mail, collaboration, big data and other business applications. Atlantis claims it helps reduce storage capacity by consolidating and increasing the efficiency of existing SAN and NAS storage while using local disk, flash and server memory to create new storage tiers. On-demand provisioning is provided by automating the real-time creation and orchestration of storage.
