While parsing technologies such as Perl, Antlr and Lex/Yacc have been around for years, with the exception of Prolog, most products on the market rely on parsing algorithms that generate complex code. However, CRN Test Center engineers recently came across a little gem called VisualText.

Using a proprietary language called NLP++, the tool is a text analyzer with a smart parser already built-in and has its own IDE to help users quickly navigate through text. In a nutshell, VisualText represents the next generation of parsers. In fact, it has brought parsing almost down to the business level, allowing business analysts to build powerful and accurate parsers.
