Microsoft is naming Peter Boit, a 15-year veteran at the company, to a new role as vice president of enterprise partners.

Most recently, Boit was vice president of Microsoft's Worldwide Commercial Sector group. In previous stints he had been vice president Microsoft Industry Solutions Group and headed up e-commerce efforts.
