Mimosa Systems on Tuesday rolled out its Partner Advantage Program for VARs selling its NearPoint for Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail archiving and recovery software.

Mimosa's new channel program offers sales and marketing initiatives, including lead generation, technology training, professional services support, sales education and user evaluation software to assist with customer engagements. The Santa Clara, Calif., vendor also is providing subscription-based pricing and financing options as well as standard perpetual software pricing.

Designed to support channel partners in the e-mail archiving and e-discovery markets, the program offers VARs, consulting services partners and systems integrators three tiers of participation: Referral, Gold and Platinum. Partners provide services and solutions for helping clients establish polices for retention and disposition of e-mail, support legal discovery requests, perform Exchange migrations, implement disaster recovery strategies, and integrate storage with archiving software into a comprehensive solution.

Mimosa's NearPoint software provides immediate mailbox and message recovery, disaster recovery, e-mail archiving, and self-service search and access in one solution. The company has nearly 100 resellers worldwide.
