Blizzard started a mini-storm this week when he acknowledged that Mozilla needed to focus much attention on addressing memory usage issues with its flagship Firefox web browser. Blizzard recently left an executive post at Linux distributor Red Hat to take the evangelist post at Mozilla. He has also, among other things, been touting Mozilla's new strategy to branch out from the PC world to the mobile space with its technology, including Firefox.
Mozilla is also nearing a launch of Firefox 3.0, and has pushed a beta version of the software into its quality assurance pipeline.
