Microsoft partners seem more cautious in their outlooks toward how the second half of 2008 is shaping up. The total value of deals Microsoft resellers plan on closing before Dec. 31 is roughly flat with the first half of the year, although they expect the average deal size to inch up to $34,300. Meanwhile, VARs anticipate the value of all deals expected to close in the second half to increase 3.8 percent compared to the first half, while the average transaction size will rise just 1.7 percent.
