The File Sharing Service is one of the preinstalled services that can be viewed by clicking on the Panel button and then the Unite button. A wizard walks a user through setting up file sharing. You need an Opera account in order to use the service. Users can share all kinds of files with the exception of .exe or .bat files. Also, you can't "hot-link," that is, you cannot link directly to a file located on My Opera from another Web site.
Security options for file sharing include Public, which allows anyone access; Limited, which sends a URL to those you want to access your files with the option of adding a password; and Private, which blocks access completely.
