New Mail Account Setup Wizard
It's always been somewhat of a hassle setting up IMAP and SMTP e-mail in e-mail clients. You need to know server names, port addresses and provide account credentials. Thunderbird 3 has a new Mail Account Setup Wizard that allows a user to quickly and automatically set up a primary email account. The wizard prompts for a display name and email address and then auto-populates the appropriate IMAP, SMTP and port settings. However the wizard only works for the initial, primary account. Additional e-mail accounts will require the user to still manually input account information.
