HP has added a new model to its line of all-in-one storage systems designed for small businesses without in-house storage expertise.

The new HP StorageWorks 1200 All-in-One (AiO) enables users to combine both SATA and SAS within the 12-drive, 2U enclosure. The system's Storage Manager software tool includes wizard-driven setup and migration support for Microsoft Exchange 2007 so users can easily move from direct-attached to network storage. It also provisions iSCSI storage for servers running both the 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003.

The HP AiO1200 is available now, with 12 drive bays and up to 9 TB of capacity. The system will be sold mainly through the channel, HP said.

HP also announced Tuesday the addition of two new executives to its SMB team: Urs Renggli, who will serve as director of worldwide SMB activities within HP's Technology Solutions Group (TSG), and Harry Baeverstad, tapped as director of SMB within the StorageWorks division.
