Affinity Index: External Storage Market Shows Growth
VARs expect SMB external storage hardware sales to increase in the second half of the year, compared to the first half, with Western Digital and Sun Microsystems among the vendors trying to gain some market share from Seagate Technologies for the No. 1 spot, according to new research by the Institute for Partner Education & Development (IPED).
VARs also believe that the sales training sessions are the most important factor when deciding which company to choose as an external storage vendor, according to IPED's new Affinity Index.
