Sun Leads The Way
The weighted sum of the 15 factors showed that Sun scored best with solution providers in the Channel Affinity Index, earning 443 points out of a possible 1,000. Sun was closely followed by Seagate Technology and EMC. Western Digital ran a distant fourth with a 295 score.
Note: In the Nov. 24 issue of CRN, the Affinity Index rankings incorrectly listed some External Storage vendors that had incomplete data.
