Seagate Tops In Transaction Dollars
Looking at the first half of the year for written proposals with SMB external storage, Seagate was far and away the leader in terms of total dollars proposed by solution providers in that space from Jan. 1 through June 30, 2008.
Trailing far behind, Sun, EMC and Western Digital were very close in terms of the value percent share of the market. However, when it comes to the average size of a proposed transaction, Sun came in with a $45,300 average proposal, with only EMC coming close to Sun.
