Just when you thought you had Microsoft's CRM plan all figured out, there's a new wrinkle.

As in the "Service Provider Edition" of Microsoft CRM which will be discussed at Convergence 2006 in Dallas this week.

While this will not be the full-on, multi-tenancy CRM promised in the Titan release, it will make hosting somewhat easier, building on the current CRM release and relevant middleware. The latter may or may not include this technology.

On Sunday, Microsofties talked generally about CRN V. Next and CRN V. Next+1, and about how one of the new versions will enable CRM implementations for multinational customers to be consolidated on one server, but it's all getting a bit hazy. Hopefully, clarity will come tomorrow.
