Talk about your doomsday scenarios! The above verbiage is from the Strong Angel III Web Site.

Strong Angel is a group of vendors, agencies, academicians solution providers, etc. who come together to conduct ad hoc demonstrations of integrated disaster response. Participants include such tech heavy weights as Cisco and Microsoft and solution providers IDV Solutions, Blue Force Development, Information Patterns.

In essence these guys run a fire drill—more like an Armageddon drill. This year's exercise will take place in San Diego next week with the city's old Naval recruitment training center as HQ.

The "scenario" will unfold and the team will figure out how to respond using lessons learned from Iraq, the tsunami and other traumatic events.

The goal is to learn how to respond more flexibly to such events.
