Here's something for those still hungering for Vista and/or Office 2007 tidbits.

It's back to New York on January 29 for the consumer launch of Vista and Office 2007 on that day. That's just one day before the software tandem is to be made generally available. The big "do" will be at Cipriani no less.

The event is being billed as a celebration of a new digital lifestyle, in an invite e-mailed late Friday over Bill Gates signature. The theme: "Wow starts now."

The business launch of both products was November 30, also in NYC.
