Starting out almost 25 years ago at CRN as part of the copy-editing staff, Jane worked with pen and paper (and X-acto knives for the production team to literally “cut” words out of a story). Things certainly have changed—and technology has made it easier and harder at the same time—but as Managing Editor she still helps to make sure that every word published online and in print adheres to the highest CRN standards (and that the commas are in the right place.)
