Microsoft Secret File Revealed

In a classic case of blogs reporting on reporters reporting on themselves, he posts that Microsoft PR inadvertently sent a Wired writer an internal briefing document about how the company was handling his interview. of Charles Fitzgerald for Wired's story on corporate "transparency."

This whole kerfuffle reinforces what many in the press have long believed: That Microsoft and its PR army sometimes spend more time on our stories than we do--or can given our own restraints.

Every journalist who covers Microsoft has, at one time or another, wanted to see his/her own Microsoft file. So how 'bout it?
