The Daily App: iCount for iPhone

Developed by Australian software maker Bubblestuff, iCount is a 99-cent download from the Apple iTunes App Store. Not only does it work as a stopwatch, which will measure how long you spend at daily, occasional or one-time tasks, but it stores the data and allows you to parse it for trends (such as wasted time.) From how much time you commute in the morning or evening to how much time you spend at lunch or in staff meetings, iCount will allow you to tweak your schedule over time to become more productive.

For example, if your morning commute between January and March is 25 minutes, but between April and May it jumps to 37 minutes, you know where you are losing that extra 17 minutes of productivity each day. The same can be done with customer support for specific customers in your business, with how much time you spend walking back and forth on an office campus each day, or even how long you take waiting on a lunch line at the cafeteria.

Now you can slice and dice every activity you spend during the day and more easily find ways to pick up that extra 15 minutes for projects, exercise or whatever.

iCount is a time-tracking app that gives you one tool to make you more productive that most other apps do not: data.
