Today's Daily App lets you have the news your way. SkyGrid is a free app for Android and iOS that offers a customizable news view with headlines laid out in a beautiful photo grid, giving users a simple, visual way to select news stories to read.

As its name, SkyGrid, implies, the first screen displays a grid of various categories with a list of current hot topics. By clicking on a category, users are brought to another grid of headlines that, when clicked, provides readers with the entire story. A convenient toolbar allows users to share stories through email and today’s popular social networking sites. The second screen allows users to add and follow any topics or sources they wish, such as entertainment, food, health and politics, to name a few. Once a category is chosen, users can then pick and follow whichever news source fits their fancy.

SkyGrid competitors include Zite and recently covered Pulse, but the rich graphical interface and ease-of-use sets SkyGrid apart.
