The Daily App: iProjection For iOS

For Epson dealers or those who are selling Epson projectors, today’s Daily App is for you. Epson’s free iProjection app can help make presenting a little easier by providing the power to display content and control presentations from an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch iOS device.

After launching the app from a network-connected device, iProjection displays a list of Ethernet- or Wi-Fi-connected Epson projectors. The app can then open and display any local or cloud-based file, and after a moment, it displays the presentation on the projector as well. Supported file types include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF, JPG and PNG. iProjection can also display images that are stored in the iOS photo library and links directly with Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs, displaying files as if they were stored locally. A recent update adds the ability to annotate any presented file and to display browser pages. A built-in projector remote controls input sources, play/pause, AV mute and volume.
