Developed by venture-funded HootSuite Media, HootSuite provides the convenience of sending and scheduling updates, tracking click stats, and setting up tracking columns to monitor keywords, #hashtags, and lists. It even translates messages in more than fifty languages, forwards messages via email, and has the option to reply to all recipients simultaneously.
Setting up an account is done through an existing email addresses for sites to be connected. Once an account is created, HootSutie automatically syncs all the profiles with that email address and after the password for the profile is provided HootSuite is ready to go. Having multiple email addresses is not a problem. The app will simply ask for the email address/login name and password for each separate account. HootSuite also is available for Blackberry and as a web app in free and pay versions.
