Ex-CDW Exec Voted To Tech Data Board

Harczak was most recently executive vice president of technology products and services for the Vernon Hills, Ill.-based director marketer from 2006 to 2007. He was executive vice president of sales from 2002 to 2005 and CFO from 1994 to 2002.

Tech Data made the appointment at its annual shareholders meeting Wednesday. In other matters, shareholders approved the re-election of three directors: CEO Bob Dutkowsky, Jeffery Howells and David Upton.

"[Harczak] brings a vast knowledge of IT distribution and we will benefit greatly from his experience and financial acumen," Dutkowsky said in a statement.
