The panel supply issues have continued, preventing the company from actually shipping the tablet thus far. But Supples said the company expects to begin shipping the system "in bunches" later in January.

A commenter on the blog said it wasn't the first time he's experienced ThinkPad ship dates that have changed. "We can plan around a lot of different shipment times, including really long ones. But it's hard to plan around moving ones," the commenter wrote. "Should I really just adjust my expectations?"
