An Introduction to HPE Nimble Storage dHCI

Every three or four months, respected industry watcher IDC releases their quarterly numbers on the converged systems market.

Within those numbers, one statistic in particular jumps off the page. The hyper-converged systems market jumped 18.7 percent from the third quarter of 2018 to the third quarter of 2019, reaching $2.02 billion.

IDC has expanded its definition of the hyperconverged systems market to include a new breed of systems called disaggregated HCI (hyperconverged infrastructure). These systems are designed to only support distinct/separate compute and storage nodes. These disaggregated HCI solutions sit between converged infrastructure and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.

The rise of disaggregated HCI brings plenty of questions…

• When does disaggregated HCI make sense?
• Why would I choose disaggregated HCI over converged or hyperconverged infrastructure solutions?
• What vendors offer disaggregated HCI solutions?
• How can I sell disaggregated HCI to my customers?

Join Tech Data and The Channel Company for a discussion that shows you how to position the HPE Nimble Storage dHCI solution to your customers.
