Tech Data's move to provide end-to-end VoIP products from Mitel is only the latest of several recent, noteworthy developments in the space of late. Earlier this month, Netgear announced it would work with Skype to develope a suite of phones and routers designed to enable WiFi-based calling. And Skype earlier signaled it was ready to jump head first into the Small and Mid-size business space.

The Tech Data-Mitel deal will be run through Tech Data's Telephony Specialized Business Unit, and provide Tech Data's resellers with Mitel communications solutions for enterprises ranging from 10 employees to 65,000 employees, the companies said.
