New Firefox: Memory Hog?

The natives are already getting restless about the Firefox 2.0 alpha, due any day now.

The fear is that the new browser will not fix memory leak problems in the current Firefox 1.5. at least according to some vocal bloggers. And really people, is there any other kind?

With the alpha due Friday, would love to hear what YOU see and experience with Firefox 2.0. Does it cut the mustard or is it back to Opera or (gasp) Internet Explorer for you?
