Bigger, Better Samsung Monitors

Samsung has unveiled a new lineup of advanced LCD monitor display solutions for the pro A/V and corporate markets. The large-screen LCD monitors are high-end display solutions designed for use in digital-signage applications in shopping malls, airports, financial institutions or public facilities where information is always available.

The SyncMaster 460PN and SyncMaster 400PN feature an Ethernet connection and Samsung's MagicNet technology, which lets users send content to any MagicNet display on a network from a server. The two monitors can also act as digital signage without needing a dedicated PC for each display. The displays also offer corporate applications, such as presentations. Users can store presentations on a server and access them when needed without a local PC.

The 46-inch SyncMaster 460PN has an estimated street price of $8,949; the 40-inch SyncMaster 400PN sells for $6,749. The 46-inch SyncMaster 460P costs $8,159, and the 40-inch SyncMaster 400P is $5,959.
